I buy at least 1 box every week as it is one of the few sources of protein I can get them to consume. "Mr LaVecchia, I felt it necessary to write you. A friend of ours gave us a recipe for clam sauce that uses your chopped clams as the main ingredient. The recipe is similiar to your on line recipes. We also put in a can of anchovies when sauting the garlic and onions. The anchovies melt into the sauce and adds just a light taste to the sauce. I have to say that your clams and juice are far superior to anything on the market and rival anything I have ever had in the finest Italian Restaurants...I now buy your chopped clams by the case and I have passed the recipe on to many of our friends. "Dear Mr. LaVecchia, Since you are the president of LaMonica Fine Foods, I wanted to direct my email to you.  My husband discovered your Crispy Clam Strips one day while shopping in our local supermarket.  He purchased the box because for the amount of Crispy Clam Strips in the box, the price was very reasonable.  In the past, we have tried ******* brand of clam strips and we were not happy with the product.  We've also tried clam strips from ****** and other fast food restaurants and we were not happy. We always found the clam strips to be rubbery or under cooked.  When we cooked the clam strips from ******, a lot of the breading fell off and the strips were small.  But we tried your product for the first time about 3 days ago and Wow!  We finally found clam strips that we enjoyed! They were HUGE, the breading didn't come off the clams, and after cooking for only a few seconds, they came out of the skillet hot, crispy, and delicious!  There were 2 bags of clam strips in the box....I ate one bag and my husband ate the other!  They were just too good to share!  I dipped a couple in tartar sauce, but quickly discovered that they were good just the way they were! "Dear Danny: For years I enjoyed the Tender Sweet fried clan strips at Howard Johnson's restaurants across the country. The last I enjoyed them was at the Howard Johnson's at Times Square, NYC (Now Gone). After that, the search was on for a good replacement. After years of trying fried clams at restraints up and down the east coast, nothing stacked up to the calms at Howard Johnson's. I even tried all the frozen fried clam strips at all the super markets here in Pennsylvania. As some of the old timers used to say, "no cigar"! After a three month hospital stay four years ago, I was forced into a retirement due to medical reasons. After coming out of the toy and model train industry my income dropped to nothing. With very limited funds the search for the perfect clam strip, was put on hold. About three weeks ago I was in a local supermarket and discovered your La Monica Hand Shucked Clam Strips. The picture on the box looked good, so I purchased it. The next day I tried a bag, EUREKA I FOUND IT! They were great! I hope to find other products that you offer.
